All Kinds of Fun!

Want to know what we’ve been up to?  Having all kinds of fun, of course!  And I don’t just mean the kids!

At the beginning of March we took Ryder and our friend Little James to the Monster Truck show.  The boys had a blast, and we did too!  Photo 32

The next weekend was mine & Alan’s 5th wedding anniversary!  We celebrated with a weekend away in Williamsburg.  CJ & Angela came along for the fun and we really had a nice adult weekend!

The kids stayed with Aunt Jess and Uncle D while we were away, so of course they were having All Kinds of Fun!

One random day a firetruck drove by Nana’s house before school and saw how excited Ryder was, so he stopped and let the kids hop on!

Ryder’s fireman fascination is in full swing, so of course that’s the theme he chose for Mr. Potato Head night at Awana!

Mommy & Daddy had some 30th Birthday Parties to go to!  One for Nicki & one for CJ.  These are two of our very best friends so celebrating their birthdays was a MUST!

The kids always have birthdays to celebrate!  Recently we went to one for Kyla & one for Jenna!  The only time they sit still is when they’re eating cake so I always get these random mouth full of cupcake shots!

Jenna’s was at a skating rink and I wasn’t quite ready to try the kids on those though.  So Maisy spent the day making me feel guilty doing this!  That girl wants to be a big kid so bad!

One nice spring day (yeah remember those nice days we had???  Wish they’d come back) Aunt Jess called to see if we wanted to meet them at the farm and see the horses!

Maisy was all over it!

This little cowboy talked a good game, but never actually got on the horse!

Little cuties.

Segway into cute picture of Maisy in cowgirl hat…

Me & Ryder had a date night, I asked him where he wanted to take me to dinner, he picked stinking McDonalds!!

Photo 3

Last Friday Ryder got his cast back on Righty (trying to strengthen Lefty) so we’ve been staying pretty low key as he adjusts and goes through this process again.  He named this one “Batman Saves the City” so we decorated in batman and angry birds tape, of course!

We went to the beach to collect shells.

Photo 9

We went on a chic-fil-a date, look at Mikayla taking care of her man, trying to give him a flower to feel better!

Photo 8

He looks much happier with what her Mommy has to offer, ice cream is the way to his heart!

Photo 4

Maisy has been such a cheerleader for her big brother while he’s had the cast on.  I guess she’s just mimicking me, but it’s really cute for her to get so excited when he accomplishes something!

Okay so we’ve been doing MOSTLY fun stuff and a little not so fun stuff, but we always try to make the best of things around here!

Sorry for the mini blogging vacay – Promise I have more good stuff to come!
